What happens to your information
This page covers visiting this website and emailing the address on it. It is a short page because there is not much to say: the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and asks you for nothing.
The site collects nothing about you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party fonts or scripts. If you email, that email is kept so it can be answered and so a conversation has a history. Nothing is sold, shared or used to build a profile.
Who is responsible
Musterlog is run by Abdul Khalique, who is the data controller for this website and for email sent to it. Musterlog Ltd is in formation in England; once it is registered, the company becomes the controller, this page will say so and the company number will appear here. Registration with the Information Commissioner's Office will be in place before any customer records are held.

Visiting the site
No cookies are set, by this site or by anyone else, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a font network. There is no analytics product, no advertising tag, no session recording and no embedded video or map calling out to another company.
The site is hosted on Vercel, and like any web host its servers record requests as they are served: the page requested, the time, the IP address the request came from, and the browser's user agent string. Those logs exist to keep the site up and to deal with abuse. They are not read for marketing, not joined to anything else, and are held for a short period by the host before deletion.
Emailing
| Held | Why, and for how long |
|---|---|
| Your email address, name and whatever you write | To reply, and so a later conversation has its history. Kept while there is a live conversation, and for two years after the last message unless you ask for it sooner. |
| Notes of a call, if we have one | How many sites, managed or tenanted, what the procedures look like today. Kept for the same period. |
| A signed pilot letter of intent, if you sign one | Kept for six years, because it is a business record. |
The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you wrote to a business about its product and expect an answer. If you would rather not hear back again, say so in a line and that is the end of it.
Who else sees it
The email provider that carries mail for this domain, and the site host named above. Both act on instruction and neither is given the information for their own purposes. Nothing is sold, rented or passed to a data broker, and nothing is used to train a model. If a supplier changes, this page changes with it.
Records held inside the Musterlog product for a customer are a different arrangement, with the customer as controller and Musterlog as processor. That is set out on the data and security page.
Your rights
- Ask what is held about you, and get a copy.
- Have it corrected if it is wrong.
- Have it deleted, unless it is one of the business records above.
- Object to it being held on the legitimate-interests basis.
Ask by email and expect an answer within a month, usually far sooner. There is nothing to prove and no form to fill in.
If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. You are not required to raise it here first, though it is usually quicker.
Changes to this page
The date at the top is the date it last changed. The two changes already expected are the company number, once Musterlog Ltd is registered, and the ICO registration number, once the fee is paid. Neither is claimed before it is true.
